About the Beach
Praia da Bordeira, in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, is one of the wildest and longest beaches on the Vicentine Coast, surrounded by huge dunes and a river estuary. Powerful waves make it a paradise for experienced surfers, while the absence of development keeps the natural beauty intact. The River Bordeira crosses the dunes before reaching the Atlantic, creating a unique landscape.
