About the Beach

Praia de Garrão-Poente, also known as Praia de Vale Garrão, lies between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, beside the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It is a long stretch of sand backed by low cliffs and a dune area covered in native vegetation, with the ochre tones that mark this coastline. Quieter and more natural than the resort beaches, it holds the Praia Acessível accessibility award.
