About the Beach

Praia da Longueira-Almograve is one of the longest and most deserted beaches on the Alentejo coast, with light sand and well-preserved dunes within the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. Rocky platforms that emerge from the sand create landscapes of great geological beauty, especially at low tide. The near-total solitude found here is increasingly rare in Portugal.
