Praia Fluvial de Valdosende sits on the banks of the Alto Rabagão reservoir, in the heart of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, surrounded by the landscape of granite, oaks and gorse that characterises Portugal's only mainland biosphere reserve. The cool, very clean reservoir water and the protected mountain setting make this place unique in Portugal. Proximity to the centre of the National Park offers countless options for hiking and contact with nature.
