Praia de Bicas

Praia do Meco is known for its naturist section, one of the most popular nudist beaches in Portugal, on a coast of cliffs and pine wood. Powerful waves and the wilder setting also attract surfers and lovers of less conventional beaches. The footprint of bathing development is discreet, preserving the natural character of the place.

Praia de Moinho de Baixo-Meco is in the municipality of Sesimbra, district of Setúbal, in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region. Coastal beach with water quality rated Excellent by APA in 2025.

Praia da Lagoa de Albufeira is one of a kind, with a freshwater lagoon separated from the sea by a narrow sand strip, offering bathing in both the ocean and the lagoon. The variety of settings — Atlantic waves and the calm water of the lagoon — draws families with children and bathers with different preferences. The area is protected and supports notable biodiversity.

Praia de São Gens is a pebble beach tucked against the Arrábida cliff, with the bare ridge just above and the turquoise water of the Atlantic at your feet. Reached only on foot, this beach preserves a completely untouched setting at the heart of the Natural Park. Crystal-clear water and the marine life inhabiting the rocky bottom make it an outstanding diving and snorkelling spot.
