Praia de Carcavelos is the largest beach on the Cascais line and one of the most popular in the Lisbon metropolitan area, with a long stretch of golden sand and excellent surfing conditions. Its proximity to Lisbon and the excellent train link make it very accessible, drawing thousands of bathers on summer days.
