Praia de Espinho-baía

Praia de Espinho is one of the main bathing resorts south of Porto, with a long stretch of sand and a casino that gives it an entertainment dimension. The city of Espinho has a historic link to gambling and bathing tourism going back to the late nineteenth century, when it was for decades one of the main summer destinations for Porto families. Good waves draw surfers and the lively seafront rounds out the offer.

Praia de Espinho Norte is the northern stretch of Espinho beach, with a quieter atmosphere than the urban centre and good access. The sand strip is long and conditions for bathing and surf are very good. Proximity to the centre of Espinho lets you easily combine the beach with the city's services and entertainment.
