Praia da Granja is an elegant beach south of Espinho, with a long tradition as the summer resort of Porto's upper bourgeoisie, whose summer villas and estates line the adjoining pine wood. The beach has good amenities and a pleasant natural setting, with the pine wood creating a fresher microclimate. Water quality and the quiet atmosphere are its main draws.

Praia de Frente Azul is in the municipality of Espinho, district of Aveiro, in the North region. Coastal beach with water quality rated Good by APA in 2025.

Praia de Espinho is one of the main bathing resorts south of Porto, with a long stretch of sand and a casino that gives it an entertainment dimension. The city of Espinho has a historic link to gambling and bathing tourism going back to the late nineteenth century, when it was for decades one of the main summer destinations for Porto families. Good waves draw surfers and the lively seafront rounds out the offer.
