About the Beach

Praia de Santa Cruz is one of the largest and most dynamic beaches in the Torres Vedras municipality, with a long stretch of sand, good surf waves and a town with its own personality. The São Vicente fort, rising on the headland, is a historical landmark that dominates the landscape of this west-facing beach. The natural and cultural setting makes Santa Cruz one of the most complete bathing destinations on the coast north of Lisbon.
