Praia de Senhora da Ribeira

Praia Fluvial da Aguieira sits on the Aguieira reservoir on the River Mondego, one of the largest reservoirs in northern Portugal. The warm, calm reservoir water creates excellent conditions for bathing and water sports. The beauty of the landscape of hills and green valleys of the Beira Alta surrounding the reservoir makes it a very pleasant destination for nature tourism.

Praia Fluvial de Santa Comba Dão sits on the River Mondego, in one of the most fertile and green areas of the Beira Alta. The Mondego banks here are very pleasant, with a fine-sand beach and good amenities. The region is known for the quality of its wines and for Beira cuisine, making a visit to the beach an experience you can combine with food tourism.

Praia de Cornicovo is in the municipality of Penacova, district of Coimbra, in the Centro region. River beach identified as a bathing water in the 2026 decree, with no water quality rating from APA yet.

Praia Fluvial de Lorvão sits on the banks of the River Mondego near the historic village of Lorvão, famous for its medieval monastery.
