The warm reservoir water and the quiet setting among pine trees and olive groves make it a very pleasant summer option. Water sports like wakeboarding and water skiing are popular here.

Praia Fluvial de Mouriscas sits on the banks of the River Tagus, next to the village of Mouriscas, with calm water and a riverside setting of great beauty. The Tagus banks on this stretch of the Ribatejo have lush willow and poplar vegetation that creates shade and freshness. The beach is very busy with Abrantes-area residents during the summer.
