About the Beach
Praia do Abrão is one of the most hidden beaches in the Arrábida, reached only by walking trail, in a cove surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation typical of the park, with no vehicle access and no amenities. It is not a designated bathing water: the water-quality rating and amenities previously shown here had been inherited, by geographic proximity, from the official profile of Praia de Galapinhos, less than 400 metres away but a separate bathing water. The designated bathing waters in the municipality of Setúbal are Albarquel, Figueirinha, Galapinhos, Galapos and Portinho da Arrábida.
