About the Beach
Praia de Consolação is the southernmost beach in the Peniche municipality, with a more family-oriented, quieter feel than the surf beaches on the northern side of the peninsula. The natural rock pools that form at low tide are popular with families with children. Water quality and a long sandy stretch make it one of the most-loved beaches on this section of the Silver Coast.
