Pedrógão Grande, Leiria
Located in Vale Góis, on the outskirts of the town of Pedrógão Grande, Praia Fluvial do Cabril sits in a privileged spot in the heart of Portugal, about 700 metres from the EN2 national road and 1.5 km from the IC8. Part of the Cabril reservoir, the bathing area is fed by the Zêzere and Unhais rivers, in a scenic setting shaped by the Pinhal Interior landscape, straddling the districts of Leiria and Castelo Branco. Nearby is the Pedrógão Grande campsite and, on one of the beach's terraces, Docas do Cabril, offering street food during the bathing season. The official bathing season runs from 15 June to 15 September, during which dogs are discouraged. The ground is not sandy.

Situated in the municipality of Pedrógão Grande, Praia Fluvial do Mosteiro lies between the parishes of Pedrógão and Vila Facaia, in a rural setting of great beauty shaped by the Ribeira de Pera, a tributary of the Zêzere river. Part of the Aldeia do Xisto do Mosteiro (schist village), this beach stands out for its tranquil atmosphere and strong natural setting, with alders, cork oaks and oaks lining the watercourse and providing pleasant shaded spots. The surroundings are also marked by cultural heritage tied to rural life and traditional farming practices, including an old olive press and a water mill. Praia Fluvial do Mosteiro is a place where nature, water, heritage and rural memory meet, offering an authentic experience of the landscape and the territory's identity. Praia Fluvial da Mega Fundeira sits on the Ribeira de Mega stream, in the municipality of Pedrógão Grande, district of Leiria. It is a small river bathing area with a swimming zone and a sun terrace, right beside the Estrada Nacional 2 road at kilometre 306. There is a picnic area with a barbecue and a terrace under a traditional strawberry-grape vine trellis. A traditional water mill survives on site, driven by the stream, and the Trilho de Mega Fundeira walking trail starts here and follows the water.
