About the Beach
Praia de Pedrógão is one of the most traditional beaches on the Leiria coast, with a long stretch of fine sand fringed by pine trees that cast natural shade onto the sand. The fishing village has a strong identity, with brightly painted fishing boats and the still-living tradition of arte xávega (beach-seine fishing).
