Praia Fluvial de Nisa sits on the Apartadura reservoir in the Upper Alentejo, with warm, crystal-clear water and a landscape of granite hills typical of the region. The reservoir is a popular sport-fishing destination, and its banks offer good conditions for bathing leisure. The town of Nisa is known for the quality of its olive oil and its regional sweets.

Praia Fluvial de Marvão sits on the banks of the Sever stream, in a deep valley in the São Mamede mountain range, between the Spanish border and the medieval village of Marvão, considered one of the most beautiful in Portugal. Cool, clean stream water, surrounded by trees and schist, creates a perfect natural oasis for hot Alentejo summer days. The nearby Marvão waterfall is a stunning natural complement.

Praia Fluvial de Vila Velha de Ródão sits next to the famous Portas de Ródão, a natural gorge of the River Tagus carved into quartzite — one of Portugal's most striking geographical features. The Tagus water on this stretch is calm and suitable for bathing, while the surrounding Portas de Ródão create a landscape of dramatic geology.
