Praia de Clube Náutico de Avis is in the municipality of Avis, district of Portalegre, in the Alentejo region. River beach with water quality rated Excellent by APA in 2025.

Praia de Montalvo/Tesos is in the municipality of Ponte de Sor, district of Portalegre, in the Alentejo region. River beach identified as a bathing water in the 2026 decree, with no water quality rating from APA yet.

Praia Fluvial da Póvoa e Meadas sits on the Póvoa e Meadas reservoir, one of the largest in the Alentejo, formed by the waters of the Vale da Roda stream. The cork-oak and olive-grove landscape typical of the Upper Alentejo and the high summer temperatures make its water warm and inviting. Praia Fluvial de Nisa sits on the Apartadura reservoir in the Upper Alentejo, with warm, crystal-clear water and a landscape of granite hills typical of the region.
