Praia Fluvial de Tomar

Praia Fluvial de Castelo de Bode sits on the reservoir of the same name on the River Zêzere, one of the largest in Portugal, supplying drinking water to the Lisbon metropolitan area. The warm, calm water of the reservoir, surrounded by hills and pine woods, creates excellent conditions for water sports like jet ski, wakeboard and sailing. The area is very popular with Tomar and Lisbon residents during the summer.

Praia Fluvial do Monte Real sits next to the Monte Real thermal spa, a long-standing health-tourism destination in Portugal. The banks of the River Lis offer a bucolic setting of great peace, with riparian vegetation creating a refreshing space during the summer. Praia Fluvial da Bairrada/Bairradinha sits on the Castelo do Bode reservoir, in the municipality of Ferreira do Zêzere, where the river Zêzere carves out a landscape of great natural beauty. Surrounded by green, quiet countryside, it stands out for its sandy shore, uncommon among the river beaches of the Castelo do Bode reservoir. Recently upgraded, it offers parking, improved access, facilities for water sports and food service, as well as a boardwalk and renovated outdoor areas. It is supervised during the bathing season.
