Praia de Poço da Cruz

Praia de Lemos is a beach on the Mira coast, north of the main beach, with a quieter, more natural atmosphere. Preserved dunes and the adjoining pine wood create a landscape typical of this stretch of the central Portuguese coast. Surf conditions are good and water quality is excellent here.

Praia de Areão is in the municipality of Vagos, district of Aveiro, in the Centre region. Coastal beach with water quality rated Excellent by APA in 2025.

Praia de Mira is known for its colourful, distinctive shelter houses — the palheiros — lined up next to the sand in a construction tradition unique to this stretch of coast. The Mira lagoon, next to the beach, offers an alternative of calm, warm water for visitors who want to avoid the Atlantic waves. The area is very popular for camping and with sport-fishing enthusiasts.

Praia de Labrego is in the municipality of Vagos, district of Aveiro, in the Centre region. Coastal beach with water quality rated Excellent by APA in 2025.
