Praia Fluvial da Quinta da Taberna is in Videmonte, in the municipality and district of Guarda, about 22 km from the city, on the river Mondego. It is a river beach with water quality rated Excellent by APA in 2025, a rating it has held since 2021, the first year the bathing water was classified. According to Guarda town council, which opened it in 2019, it has a picnic area, a bar with a terrace and a covered barbecue area. The APA register lists parking, waste collection and beach cleaning, and records no toilets, showers or supervision, so there is no guaranteed lifeguard during the bathing season.

Praia de Vale do Rossim is in the municipality of Gouveia, district of Guarda, in the Centre region. River beach with water quality rated Excellent by APA in 2025.

Praia Fluvial de Belmonte sits on the banks of the Belmonte stream, a tributary of the River Zêzere, next to the birthplace of Pedro Álvares Cabral, discoverer of Brazil.
